TextureBlender came from a need to have a fast, light-weight and versatile way of shading.

It contains nodes to speed up shading, blending and creating rich materials that you can easily bake in the end because you are blending textures and not shaders.

Installation

To install TextureBlender I suggest to add the QP_TextureBlender folder to an Asset Library.

Then you can install QP_Tools like any other addon, in the Preferences > Addons

It will allow the TextureBlender nodes to be found in the add menu of the shader editor

Or you can drag and drop it from the Asset Library

How to use?

Importing the nodes to your material

Basic Blend

Mask texture Break up

Height Blending

To speed shading up, I built (and might add more in the future) node groups to add details and definition to a mesh simply and very fast.
