TextureBlender came from a need to have a fast, light-weight and versatile way of shading.
It contains nodes to speed up shading, blending and creating rich materials that you can easily bake in the end because you are blending textures and not shaders.

To install TextureBlender I suggest to add the QP_TextureBlender folder to an Asset Library.
Then you can install QP_Tools like any other addon, in the Preferences > Addons
It will allow the TextureBlender nodes to be found in the add menu of the shader editor
Or you can drag and drop it from the Asset Library
Either from the Blender Asset Browser, or from the Add menu once the nodes are added to your asset library. Otherwise you can append them like any other node.

The simplest use of the TextureBlend node is to blend 2 textures, like the blue and orange from the example below. The white parts in the mask reveal the Texture B, while the black parts reveal the Texture A.
You can plug anything you want to use as a mask.
